A course for expecting parents

Prepare for parenthood — together.

The Nesting Season is a thoughtful, practical course that prepares you emotionally, relationally, logistically and financially for what's ahead.

Couple sitting on a mountain together

You've read the books, you've taken the prenatal class, and still when people ask "do you feel ready?" — inside, you don't. And how could you? Nobody prepared you for what a baby does to your relationship, your sense of self, or your bank account.

If you're nodding — this course was built for you.

Hi — we're Hannah & Taylar.

We made this course because we couldn't find anything like it when we were expecting. There's no shortage of advice about labour or sleep schedules — but almost nothing that helps you and your partner actually prepare for what parenthood does to a relationship, an identity, or a household.

So we built it ourselves. Nesting Season combines our own experience, evidence-based research, practical frameworks, and the conversations every expecting parent should be having before their baby arrives. Most prenatal education focuses on getting your baby here. Nesting Season helps you prepare for everything that comes next.

"We can do so much better than 'you just won't get it until you're in it.'"

FAQs

Still have questions? Send us a message and we'll get back to you.

Who is this course for?
Nesting Season is designed for expecting parents — ideally started in the second trimester, but useful at any stage.
Do we do it together or separately?
Both. Some content you can watch independently, but the Share exercises are designed to be done together — that's where most of the value is.
How long does it take?
Most couples do one module per week, making it roughly a nine-week course. You can go faster or slower — you have lifetime access.
Is this a replacement for a prenatal class?
No — and we'd encourage you to do both. Traditional prenatal classes focus on birth. This course focuses on everything else: your relationship, your finances, your identity, your home.
What if we've already had our baby?
If you're finding this course postpartum, you're still in the right place. While the Labour module may be more relevant for a future pregnancy, the work in this course can be done at any stage. We completed much of this work postpartum and still benefit from the foundation it gave us.
